How much does a wedding marquee cost in Yorkshire?
It depends on your guest numbers, marquee style, location and the extras you need. Smaller weddings with a basic package typically start from around £2,500. Fully equipped weddings for 150+ guests can range from £5,000–£12,000+. We provide fully itemised quotes with no hidden charges, get in touch for a free quote.
Can we have a marquee in our garden?
Absolutely, it’s one of our most popular options. We’ll do a free site visit to assess your space, check vehicle access and advise on the best setup. Even smaller gardens can often work with the right marquee size and layout.
How far in advance should we book?
For summer Saturdays we recommend booking 9–12 months ahead, these dates fill quickly across Yorkshire. We can sometimes accommodate shorter notice, especially midweek or off-peak dates, so always worth asking.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
All our marquees are fully waterproof and professionally anchored. We provide boarded flooring to keep the interior dry, can add heaters for cold days, and offer covered walkways and entrance porches. Yorkshire weather is no match for a properly fitted Abracadabra marquee.
Do you supply furniture, lighting and flooring?
Yes, everything is included in our packages. Chiavari chairs, banqueting tables, a choice of dance floor, interior lighting (festoon, chandelier or wagon wheel) and carpet flooring in your colour choice. We’re a one-stop-shop so you don’t have to co-ordinate multiple suppliers.

Do we need planning permission for a wedding marquee?
For most private, short-term events on private land, planning permission isn’t required. If you’re unsure, we recommend checking with your local council. We’re happy to advise based on our extensive experience across Yorkshire.
